OTHER EQUIPMENT & PARTS

At Bollinger Drilling, we don’t just sell parts—we sell expertise. With over 40 years in the drilling business, we know that the right equipment is only as good as the knowledge behind it. That’s why we encourage folks to pick up the phone and call with questions before making a purchase. We’re happy to walk you through how the equipment works, what will fit your specific needs, and what you can expect from it in the field. Our goal is to make sure every driller not only gets quality parts, but also the confidence that they’re making the right choice for their operation.

ABOUT BOLLINGER DRILLING

For over four decades, Bollinger Drilling has stood as a symbol of hard work, integrity, and dedication to the craft of drilling across the American landscape. Founded by Roger Bollinger, a seasoned master driller with a lifetime of experience in both water and shallow oil wells, the company’s story is one of perseverance, family, and the pursuit of excellence from the plains of Wyoming to the rugged limestone of South Texas.

Roger’s journey began at just 18 years old, when he left home to work in the oil fields of Evanston, Wyoming. It was there he learned the ropes under respected industry leaders like Dean Tinnin—an experience that shaped his lifelong passion for drilling. Over the years, he worked in states across the country including Texas, Missouri, Georgia, and Kentucky, steadily mastering the trade and developing the grit and work ethic that would define Bollinger Drilling’s reputation.

In 1983, Roger and his brothers Dean and Brady founded Bollinger Brothers Drilling Company, taking on the challenges of shallow oil and gas drilling during one of the industry’s toughest decades. Their determination carried them through long nights, hard labor, and uncertain markets—proving that persistence and family unity could outlast any boom-and-bust cycle. After several years, Roger and his brothers moved back to Missouri and started drilling water wells. While there they drilled 500 - 600 water wells as Bollinger Brothers Well Drilling. In 1991 Roger took sole ownership, buying out his brothers, establishing Bollinger Drilling Company, and expanding its focus to include water well drilling throughout Missouri and beyond.

By the 2000's, Roger had brought his operation to Texas, where he would find his permanent home. After working in Kerrville, he moved to Del Rio in 2006, where Bollinger Drilling continues to thrive today. The company has drilled hundreds of wells across Val Verde, Kerr, Edwards, and Terrell Counties, including large-diameter and deep formations that many drillers refuse to tackle. Roger’s extensive experience in complex terrain has made Bollinger Drilling a trusted name for both residential and commercial clients throughout the region.

A hallmark of Bollinger Drilling is its family legacy. Roger learned the drilling trade from his uncle who did directional drilling in California. Also, Roger’s son Billy Bollinger has worked alongside him since high school, learning every aspect of the trade and carrying the Bollinger tradition forward as co-owner of Val Verde Water Well. With the next generation already showing interest in continuing the work, the Bollinger name is set to remain synonymous with excellence, reliability, and family pride for years to come.

At Bollinger Drilling, the work has never been about shortcuts or convenience—it’s about doing the job right. From oil fields to water wells, from refineries to private ranches, the Bollinger team brings decades of hands-on expertise and an unshakable commitment to quality that only experience can provide.
